Duties
- Supervise the takeaway team to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders, maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to streamline food preparation processes, ensuring efficiency and adherence to food safety regulations
- Oversee order accuracy, packaging, and presentation to guarantee customer satisfaction
- Manage daily operations including inventory control, stock replenishment, and cleanliness of the takeaway area
- Lead by example in serving customers with professionalism and hospitality, addressing any issues promptly and effectively
- Train new team members on food safety protocols, customer service techniques, and operational procedures
- Monitor team performance, provide constructive feedback, and foster a positive, motivated work environment
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment with a focus on takeaway or delivery services
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team
- Experience in food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, food production processes, and hospitality best practices
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach
- Background in restaurant or hotel experience is highly desirable; barista experience is a plus
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
