Nexus Recruitment are seeking a Block Property Manager for a growing managing agent in the Watford area. My client are incredibly well respected within the market and they manage a variety of stock from new-build developments with on-site teams and facilities, to more traditional blocks local to the office. They are a growing company and this position has come about due to growth and acquisition of more blocks in the coming months.
Core duties:
- Management of a portfolio
- Regular site inspections
- Set & manage service charge budgets as well as year-end accounts
- Where required, carry out Section20 major works from start to finish
- Oversee contractors, ensuring they have the correct permits for work
- Ensuring your portfolio is compliant with current leasehold legislation
- Build a cohesive relationship with all key stakeholders
- Manage your portfolio with a customer led approach
With multiple departments within one roof, you will have a number of internal resources to help you carry out your role efficiently on a daily basis. As a business, their internal promotion and their retention rate are very apparent when looking at the current team, something they’re hoping will continue with any new team members.
Required attributes:
- 2+ years leasehold experience
- ATPI qualified, MTPI desired
- Ability to nurture junior team members
- Personable with a proven ability to build a rapport with key stakeholders
- Clean UK drivers license
