We are a well-established and forward-thinking dental laboratory based in Loughton, Essex, and we’re looking for a highly motivated and organised individual to join us in a Customer Service and Lab Assistant role.
This is a unique, hybrid role that blends customer service, administration, and lab operations – perfect for someone with strong interpersonal skills, excellent organisational ability, and a passion for delivering high-quality service in a clinical or dental lab setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for clients, providing professional and efficient customer service
- Manage incoming and outgoing cases, ensuring timely processing and delivery
- Maintain accurate administrative records, including order tracking, invoicing, and stock control
- Liaise with dental practices and technicians to ensure smooth workflow and communication
- Oversee daily lab operations and assist with scheduling workloads
- Monitor quality control processes and help maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment
- Support the lab owner with business development tasks and staff coordination
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in a dental lab, dental practice, or healthcare admin setting preferred but not essential
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Competent in using office software (Microsoft Office, dental lab systems a plus)
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Leadership experience or desire to step into a management role
