Who are we?
Aaban Partnership Ltd is a new and exciting service offering high-quality specialist mental health services for young people with complex needs. Aaban Partnership Ltd has two CQC regulated bespoke built 10 bedded units offering Assessment, Stabilisation, treatment, and intervention for young people aged 8 -18 years.
Providence Unit (Assessment and Stabilisation Unit) and Moira Unit (Treatment and Intervention Unit) are both open and operational and we require passionate, committed, hard-working healthcare support workers to work as part of our team.

Our robust, experienced and diverse multi-disciplinary team will offer guidance and supervision on a regular basis. We will offer and support regular training and opportunity to develop and grow within the role.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in planning and facilitating a broad range of needs-led individual and group fitness, exercise and leisure sessions, accommodating each young person’s interests.
- Show an understanding of mental illness and how this may impact young people’s physical health.
- Be responsible for risk assessments of the spaces used for physical activity and have an awareness of the daily risks presented by each young person prior to each physical activity engagement.
- Actively contribute to reviews and meetings, working collaboratively with MDT colleagues in the planning and delivery of young persons fitness programmes
- To input notes into nourish contemporaneously and contribute to nursing Summary reports as and when appropriate.
- Assist young people in establishing effective fitness/wellness goals and develop the most effective training plan to achieve those goals.
- Teach & supervise young people to ensure they are exercising safely and effectively.
Pay: £29,374.80 per year
