Job Summary
We are seeking a self employed PAT Tester, from time to time.
Must have own transport and be prepared to travel for up to around an hour depending on where you live.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) to ensure that electrical appliances are safe for use in compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality assurance, ensuring that all testing is performed accurately and efficiently.
Duties
- Conduct PAT testing on a variety of electrical appliances in accordance with established safety standards.
- Identify any faults or issues with appliances.
- Maintain accurate records of all testing performed, including equipment details and test outcomes.
Requirements
- Previous experience in PAT testing or a related field is preferred.
- a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all work conducted.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to electrical appliances is advantageous.
