We are seeking passionate and dedicated Early Years Educators, Apprentices, and Assistants at UNQ, Level 2 & 3 to join our vibrant childcare team. Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of high-quality early years education tailored to each child's individual needs
- Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play
- Foster a safe, caring, and inclusive environment that encourages curiosity and exploration
- Communicate effectively with children, colleagues, and parents to ensure a cohesive approach to care
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily routines in accordance with regulatory standards
- Support the supervision of children during indoor and outdoor activities to ensure safety at all times
- Contribute to the effective running of the nursery by assisting with daily operations and maintaining cleanliness
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood setting is highly desirable
- Demonstrated understanding of child development principles and early childhood education practices
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and team members
- Management or leadership experience is a plus, especially in coordinating activities or supervising others
- Valid driving license is advantageous
- Experience working within childcare regulations and safeguarding policies is preferred
- A genuine passion for nurturing young children’s growth and development

The position is subject to an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references and completion of a full induction, all conducted by the nursery.
