Marketing Apprentice

Marshalls, part of the successful Westland Horticulture Group, is offering an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Apprentice to join our team. This role will give you the chance to gain hands-on experience within a successful consumer products business, while working towards a recognised Level 3 or Level 4 Marketing Apprenticeship qualification.
You will work alongside an experienced marketing team, learning how marketing supports a growing eCommerce business, from developing campaigns and creating customer communications to understanding how brands connect with customers online and offline.

No previous marketing experience is required, what matters most is your enthusiasm, attitude and willingness to develop.
The person
- Ideally educated to A-level standard (or equivalent qualifications)
- A genuine interest in marketing, brands, social media and customer communications
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Good communication skills and the confidence to work with different teams
- Organised, reliable and able to manage your time effectively
- Creative with an eye for detail and engaging content
- Comfortable using computers and Microsoft Office applications
This role is office based in Alconbury and, due to the location, the successful candidate will need a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
What you will do
- Support the Marketing Team with day-to-day marketing activities
- Learn how marketing campaigns are planned, delivered and measured
- Assist with email campaigns, catalogues, direct mail, social media and customer communications
- Research market trends, competitors and customer feedback
- Support the organisation of events, photo shoots and supplier activity
- Maintain marketing information and customer data with full training provided
