The Role
We are entering an exciting period of change focused on achieving optimal performance across all areas of our business. To support this transformation, we are looking to recruit two Mechanical Engineers to strengthen and develop our engineering function. In this role, you will work on a wide range of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment, resolving technical issues, carrying out planned maintenance, and supporting ongoing improvement initiatives. You will also contribute to engineering projects across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Fault finding and repair of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Planned and reactive maintenance
- Supporting engineering improvement projects
- Ensuring work is carried out safely and efficiently
- Contributing to continuous improvement activities
About You
Essential requirements:
- ONC in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Completed a time-served apprenticeship
- FLT and MEWP licences
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Arc welding
Desirable experience:
- Jaw crushers, chipping and shredding machinery
- Induction furnaces
