Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take drink orders with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards and responsible serving practices at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies
- Manage cash register transactions accurately using basic math skills for billing and change handling
- Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment and prevent over-serving
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to alcohol service and food handling
Experience
- Previous experience working in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated newcomers eager to learn
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol serving practices is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with guests and team members effectively
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Basic math proficiency for processing payments accurately
- Experience in serving or bartending roles will be advantageous but is not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
