We are looking for a Data and Reporting Engineer to join the team at our Blythe Bridge depot!
The Data & Reporting Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining reliable reporting and analytics solutions that enable data-led decision making across the organization. This role is predominantly office based.

Essential Skills & Experience
Technical
-
Strong SQL capability
-
Hands-on experience delivering reports using:
- QlikView (data loads, scripting, set analysis, dashboards)
- Power BI (data modelling, DAX, Power Query, visuals, workspace practices)
- SSRS (report development, datasets, parameters, subscriptions, scheduling)

Understanding of data modelling concepts (facts/dimensions, measures, grain, hierarchies).

Experience integrating data from multiple systems and dealing with imperfect source data.

Working knowledge of Python, JavaScript, or HTML to support data manipulation, automation, or report customisation.
Analytical & Delivery

Ability to convert requirements into clear technical design and deliver working solutions.

Strong troubleshooting skills.

Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment balancing BAU reporting support with change delivery.
Communication
-
Able to explain data concepts and report logic to non-technical stakeholders.

Strong documentation habits: definitions, assumptions, report purpose, and change notes.
Desirable (Advantageous) Skills & Experience

Epicor BisTrack experience (reporting, data structures, operational workflows such as sales orders, purchasing, inventory, pricing, site performance).

Exposure to data warehousing / lakehouse concepts and/or modern cloud data platforms.

Familiarity with data governance, KPI standardisation, and master data management concepts.
