The Role:
We’re looking for an organised, proactive and people‑focused individual to support the coordination of the University’s Student Ambassador Scheme.
Our student ambassadors play a vital role in our marketing, recruitment and outreach activity. They inspire future students and give them a genuine insight into student life at the University of Portsmouth.
In this role, you’ll help keep the scheme running effectively day to day. You will ensure processes stay on track, communications are clear and records are accurate. You will support the Student Ambassador Officer with the recruitment, training and onboarding of new ambassadors and you will assist with scheduling ambassadors for a wide range of events and activities.
You will have excellent administrative and organisational skills and be confident managing multiple priorities. You will also have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships with staff and students.
The working pattern for this post is 22.2 hours per week spread across either 4 or 5 days.
Whilst there is a need to be in Portsmouth a few days a week, hybrid working is available for this role.
The interviews are currently anticipated to be held on 23rd June 2026.
An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required for this post.
