As warehouse Supervisor, you will be key for overseeing the operation for the customers situated on site including all ecommerce functions. You will work closely with the site manager and administrator to ensure operational consistency and service for our customers. You will be responsible for leading and managing the team to ensure they achieve their required daily workload. You must have the ability to understand, orchestrate and manage all customers including goods in and out, warehouse layout and admin. You will be required to ensure that your team complies with all legislation for Health and Safety and follow all company housekeeping rules, policies and procedures.
Full time: Monday - Friday 8am and 5pm although some flexibility will be required
Salary: £33,217.70
JOB SUMMARY
- The key contact for orchestrating and resolving any queries for the operational team
- Managing the workflow of the team to make sure that the ecommerce operation flows to meet the customer requirements
- Monitor the order flow to make sure efficiency for all accounts is optimised to best utilise the available labour
- Ensure resource levels are effectively planned and achieved to support customer volumes and demands
- Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities and help management implement ideas
- Lead, motivate, train, and develop the operational team and ensure full utilisation of resources is achieved
- Support all actions identified to reduce damages & drive down cost
- Clearly advise all team members of performance requirements
- Ensure full compliance with H&S and other legislative obligations
- Ensure maintenance of housekeeping standards
- Any other duties considered necessary to fulfil the role
Profile
- A proven history of working with customer constraints, meeting deadlines and managing operational needs is essential
- Experienced customer service and problem-solving skills is essential
- Excellent attention to detail
- Committed and dedicated to the role and providing the best possible service for the customer
- Experience in leading and managing a workload to deliver results in a demanding warehouse environment
- A positive ‘can do’ attitude and flexible in their approach to work
- A logical approach to problem solving
Technical competencies
- Strong computer literacy, including knowledge of WMS systems
- Ability to adapt and learn new IT software
- Warehouse Experience Essential
- MHE Licenses preferred

Holiday: 23 days + BHs (this increases by 1 day per year from 3 years service until 28 days + BHs have been accrued)
