Exam Invigilator – Ad Hoc (Birmingham & Solihull)
Pay: £14 per hour
Hours: Ad hoc / as required
Locations: Various venues across Birmingham and Solihull
About the role
We are looking for reliable, certificated exam invigilators to join our bank of ad hoc staff. You will supervise exams at venues across Birmingham and Solihull, making sure every session runs calmly, fairly and in line with regulations.
Work is offered on an ad hoc basis, dictated by the exam calendar. We will always give you as much notice as possible once exam dates are confirmed, so you can plan around other commitments.
What you'll be doing
- Supervising candidates throughout the exam and maintaining exam conditions
- Reporting any incidents or suspected malpractice promptly
What we're looking for
- A valid invigilation certificate (essential)
- A full driving licence and access to a vehicle, to travel reliably between venues across Birmingham and Solihull (essential)
- Excellent timekeeping – exams cannot start late
- Commitment and reliability: once you accept a session, we need to know you will be there
- A calm, professional manner and attention to detail
- Discretion and the ability to follow strict procedures
