We are seeking a Personable and friendly individual who is also a good communicator and can work alone or as a team. Must be able to work under pressure as it can get extremely busy.
The hours are roughly from 20 to 35 hours per week (part time will be considered) to include weekend work. This is an all year round position for someone who has a longer work experience background.
Duties include:
- Preparing and serving food items
such as Breakfasts, Baguettes, Sandwiches, Paninis, Jacket Potatoes, etc. plus baking off products and other food preparation as necessary.
To handle stock delivery and
ensuring adequate stock levels of supplies and consumables for the kitchen, managing orders and stock rotation.
- Cash handling and card payments
- when support is required on the counter:
To prepare hot drinks, Serve cold beverages, cakes and other food items when support is required. To ensure the kitchen is thoroughly cleaned before, during and at the end of service and is prepared and ready.
- Following open and closing procedures as directed.
- Ensuring compliance with all legislation, H&S and food hygiene.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation and kitchen operations
- Strong focus on food safety standards
- Background in catering and meal preparation
- Experience in restaurant environments preferred
- Ability to serve food efficiently and courteously
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills in a fast-paced setting
