Duties
- Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments tailored to each client's preferences.
- Provide expert advice on hair care routines and product recommendations to enhance client satisfaction.
- Manage front desk responsibilities by greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and handling client inquiries with professionalism.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques and best practices to foster skill development.
- Upsell retail products and additional services to maximize client experience and salon revenue.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all work areas to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Hairdresser or Barber with a strong portfolio of diverse styles.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively understand client needs and provide clear guidance.
- Knowledge of store management principles to assist with daily operations when needed.
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly, energetic attitude that creates welcoming atmospheres.
- Experience in mentoring or training team members is preferred but not mandatory.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends as required by the salon schedule.
