We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable & hard working individuals to join our friendly team.
The job will involve all usual day to day shop duties. The desired candidates are required to have a number of years paid retail experience, a willingness to learn, able to work with their own initiative and have a strong focus on customer service. Someone who has a love of animals and confidence with dogs is essential. We have lots of deliveries involving moving heavy and bulky items so the successful candidate will need to be able to meet the physical demands the job entails.
The job will require you to be flexible with working hours including the ability to work full days, weekends (Sat&Sun), cover holidays/illness and work varied days each week...please do not apply if you cannot fulfil this requirement. It will therefore not suit someone who has other job/study commitments. This role is a permanent position and we are really looking for someone who is excited about the industry and wanting to join our work family for the long term. The ideal candidates would preferably be able to cover hours in our other Ripley store (live animals sold here).
Two positions available...we are looking for one full time and one part time or two part time positions to be filled which will be determined on the successful applications.
