Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Bank Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality meals and maintaining a clean, organised kitchen environment. The successful candidate will play a vital role in meal preparation, food safety, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly in line with established recipes and standards
- Support the catering team during events and daily service periods
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment
- Follow food safety protocols and hygiene standards at all times
- Help with basic cooking tasks under supervision, including chopping, mixing, and portioning ingredients
- Serve food to customers or guests in a courteous and efficient manner
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Assist with washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and waste disposal to uphold health regulations
Experience
- Previous experience in catering, restaurant work, or food service is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices is advantageous
- Familiarity with meal preparation, food presentation, and kitchen equipment will be beneficial
- Experience in working within a fast-paced environment such as a restaurant or catering service is preferred
- A genuine interest in culinary arts and willingness to learn new skills are highly valued
