Time: 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM (6 hours per day)
Pay: £130 per day
About the Role
ComputerXplorers Southwest London is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable STEM Instructor to deliver exciting technology-based activities at our Wandsworth Holiday Camp.
You'll be inspiring children through hands-on sessions in coding, robotics, 3D design, game development, and other engaging STEM activities. Lesson plans and equipment will be provided, so we're looking for someone who enjoys working with children and can confidently lead fun, interactive sessions.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging STEM activities for children aged 5–11.
- Set up and pack away equipment each day.
- Create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
- Encourage creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving.
- Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures.
- Work closely with the camp team to ensure a fantastic experience for all children.
Essential Requirements
- Experience working with children in a teaching, tutoring, coaching, or camp environment.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Enthusiastic, energetic, and reliable.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Safeguarding Training(can be provided)
- Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
Desirable
- Experience with coding, robotics, Scratch, Minecraft Education, LEGO Robotics, Micro:bit, 3D printing, or other STEM technologies.
- Teaching, childcare, or STEM-related qualification.
