We are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Technicians to join a well-established commercial vehicle operation in Birmingham.
With a range of day, late and rotating shift patterns available, this is a great opportunity for a qualified HGV Technician looking for flexibility, stability and excellent earning potential.
The Role
You will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance and repair of HGVs, helping to keep vehicles safe, compliant and operating efficiently.
Your duties will include:
- Servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
- Carrying out inspections and safety checks
- Preparing vehicles for MOT and compliance requirements
- Completing preventative maintenance and repairs
- Working efficiently to minimise vehicle downtime
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Level 3 HGV / Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification
- Previous experience working on HGVs or commercial vehicles
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- A reliable and professional approach
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
