Role - Room Leader – Nursery & Pre-School

Our client is an Ofsted Outstanding nursery and pre-school setting in Huntingdon, looking for a warm, confident and motivated Room Leader to join their friendly team and help them provide an exceptional Early Years experience for our children.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead and support your room team, creating a happy, safe and nurturing environment
- Build strong relationships with children and their families
- Be a positive role model and promote excellent Early Years practice
- Support children’s individual learning, development and wellbeing
- Ensure observations, planning and learning journeys are kept up to date
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding and child protection
- Work closely with the Senior Team to continuously improve the nursery
- Act as a Key Person for a small group of children
What we’re looking for
- A Level 3 Early Years qualification
- A genuine passion for working with children
- A caring, positive and professional approach
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Confidence to lead, motivate and support colleagues
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and child-centred practice
