Duties
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development
- Provide attentive childcare, ensuring safety, comfort, and emotional well-being at all times
- Assist with daily routines such as meal times, naps, playtime, and educational exercises
- Support language development by incorporating English and French language activities into daily interactions
- Drive children to appointments, outings, or extracurricular activities safely and responsibly
- Teach basic skills and encourage positive behavior through guidance and encouragement
- Nurture a warm environment that fosters curiosity, independence, and social skills
Requirements
- Proven experience in childcare, nannying, teaching or similar roles involving children
- Valid driving license with a clean driving record for safe transportation responsibilities
- Fluency in English; proficiency in French is highly desirable to support bilingual development
- Strong understanding of child safety protocols and first aid procedures
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with parents and other caregivers
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining a lively and positive demeanor
- Passion for working with children and supporting their growth through engaging activities
