Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: £33,643 to £36,938 per annum. Plus generous benefits, including:

About the role
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our Early Years team as an Assessor for T Level Education & Early Years. This is a fantastic opportunity to support and inspire a diverse group of learners as they work towards their Early Years qualifications.
In this role, you will:
- Support learners undertaking T Levels within Early Years and Assisting Teaching pathways.
- Monitor learner progress and contribute to timely achievement and retention targets.
- Conduct workplace reviews and maintain accurate electronic records in line with awarding body and funding requirements.
- Work collaboratively with curriculum staff, employers, and parents/carers where appropriate to support learner success.
- Promote safeguarding, Prevent, equality, diversity and inclusion within all aspects of the role.
- Address any issues or concerns that may arise during placement
Some evening work may be required to meet the needs of learners and placement schedules.

About the Person
We are seeking someone who is:
- Passionate about Early Years education - with a strong understanding of child development and a commitment to high-quality learning experiences.
- Supportive and encouraging - able to motivate and guide learners of all backgrounds to reach their full potential.
- Organised and reliable - capable of managing their own schedule, meeting deadlines, and maintaining accurate assessment records.
- A confident communicator - skilled in building positive relationships with students, placement providers, and colleagues.
- Adaptable and solution-focused - able to respond to challenges with a calm, proactive approach.
- Experienced in assessment - ideally with a relevant assessor qualification and experience in assessing Early Years qualifications but this is not essential as full training will be provided.
Applicants must possess a minimum of a Level 3 in a relevant Early Years Qualification and holding an appropriate assessor qualification is desirable. An Internal Quality Assurance qualification would be an advantage; however appropriate training will be provided.
The role is fixed-term for up to one year to cover a period of maternity leave.
