Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Children's Netball Coach to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging Netball based sports sessions, fostering teamwork, and promoting physical activity among children. This role offers an excellent opportunity to inspire others while enhancing your coaching skills in a supportive environment. The Sports Coach will play a vital part in building confidence through Netball.
Must be available Thursdays in Redditch between 5-7pm.
Duties
- Deliver structured coaching sessions, tailored to different age groups and skill levels.
- Motivate and inspire participants to achieve their personal best, ensuring a positive and inclusive environment.
- Organise training drills, games, and competitions that promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and skill development.
- Monitor participant progress, providing constructive feedback and encouragement to support improvement.
- Ensure all activities are conducted safely, adhering to relevant health and safety regulations.
- Foster a fun, respectful atmosphere that encourages participation and personal growth.
Experience
- Proven experience in sports coaching or working with children within a similar setting is essential.
- A recognised coaching qualification, particularly England Netball Level 1 or 2, or other relevant sports coaching certification is is desirable but not mandatory for all applicants.
- Strong knowledge of Netball, techniques, and safety procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively with participants of all ages and backgrounds.
