Operations Manager – Children’s Residential Services
Salary: Up to £80,000 per annum
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Working: Predominantly on-site, with some flexibility for remote working

We are supporting two organisations in the recruitment for two Operations Manager positions within established children’s residential services.
These are senior leadership roles for experienced children's social care professionals who can lead, support and develop Registered Managers, drive quality and compliance, and ensure children and young people receive safe, consistent and high-quality care.
Position 1 – Thamesmead, SE28
Overseeing several children's residential homes supporting young people aged 9–18. The homes provide safe residential care and emotional support using a trauma-informed approach, helping young people develop positive routines, access education and improve their wellbeing.
Position 2 – N20 & HA8
Overseeing three established, open, three-bed children's residential homes supporting young people with learning disabilities.
About You: We are looking for someone with:
- Strong experience within children's residential care with over 5 years in senior positions
- Experience overseeing multiple services or supporting multiple Registered Managers
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding and children's residential standards
- Strong leadership, communication and performance-management skills
- The confidence to support, challenge and develop Registered Managers
- A genuine commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people
- A Level 5 in Leadership & Management
- Previously worked in an Operational position, improving quality, compliance and organisational growth.
Pay: £70,000.00-£80,000.00 per year
