Carpenter Required – Hugo Developments
Hugo Developments is looking for an experienced and reliable carpenter to join our growing team on a self-employed basis.
We specialise in residential refurbishments, renovations and property improvements across Brighton & Hove and the surrounding areas. We have a number of exciting projects coming up and are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and can work independently without constant supervision.
The Role
The successful candidate will be confident undertaking:
- Installation of skirting boards and architraves
- Hanging and fitting internal doors
- Studwork and timber framing
- Boxing-in and general carpentry works
- Framing and preparation for baths, shower trays and bathroom installations
- Flooring and finishing carpentry
- General second-fix carpentry and refurbishment works
What We’re Looking For
- Proven carpentry experience
- Own van and tools essential
- Ability to read situations on site and use initiative
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Reliable, punctual and well organised
- Good communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a wider team
- Positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in when required
