Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lettings Accounts Administrator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist the Accounts Department manage financial transactions related to property lettings, maintain accurate accounts, and support our property management operations. Your proactive approach will help ensure smooth financial processes and excellent service for our clients and tenants.
Responsibilities
- Assist with accounts payable processes, helping to ensure timely payments to vendors and contractors using accounting software such as PayProp, Sage, or Xero
- Assist with reconciling rental income and deposit transactions accurately within the accounting system
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions relating to property lettings
- Support the preparation of financial reports and statements for internal review
- Assist with the collection and processing of rent payments, helping to identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Work closely with property managers to ensure financial documentation is complete, accurate and in line with company policies
- Assist with account-related enquiries, providing clear and professional communication and support to tenants, landlords and vendors
Skills
- Experience with accounts payable processes and financial reconciliation
- Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with tenants, vendors, and team members
- Basic understanding of property management operations is a plus
