Join our dynamic team as a Traffic Marshall and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and safe flow of vehicles and pedestrians on-site. In this energetic position, you will be responsible for managing access points, directing traffic, and maintaining safety protocols across the construction or event site. Responsibilities
- Control vehicle and pedestrian access at designated entry and exit points, ensuring only authorized personnel enter the site
- Direct traffic flow to prevent congestion and ensure safety during busy periods or construction activities
- Maintain clear communication with drivers, visitors, and team members using effective verbal instructions and signaling
- Monitor site conditions regularly to identify potential hazards or obstructions, reporting issues promptly
- Assist with site maintenance tasks related to traffic management equipment, signage, or barriers as needed
- Enforce safety protocols by guiding pedestrians safely around active work zones or restricted areas
- Keep detailed logs of vehicle movements, incidents, and visitor entries for record-keeping purposes
Requirements
- Proven experience in management or supervision roles, demonstrating leadership in fast-paced environments
- Ability to operate basic maintenance tools or equipment related to traffic control setups
- Valid driving license with a clean record; experience driving various vehicles is preferred
- Excellent communication skills to clearly convey instructions and coordinate with team members and visitors
- Strong awareness of safety procedures and traffic management regulations
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods, walking across uneven surfaces, and performing manual tasks when necessary
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as required
