Jackson Hayes Recruitment is working with a welcoming Church of England primary school in Romford to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher for a long-term or permanent position.
This role is suitable for experienced teachers seeking a new challenge or Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to develop their practice within a supportive and nurturing school environment.
The Role
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress, providing constructive feedback
- Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, parents, and school leaders
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning
- Take part in staff meetings, training, and wider school activities
- Follow the school’s safeguarding, behaviour, and health & safety policies

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (desirable, not essential)
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to adapt teaching to meet individual pupil needs
- Excellent communication skills
- A genuine passion for teaching and supporting young learners
- A clear commitment to safeguarding
