Duties
- Assist with the assembly of products using hand tools and power tools according to project specifications
- Prepare workstations by organizing materials, tools, and equipment for efficient workflow
- Support the team in handling inventory, including receiving, storing, and tracking parts in the warehouse
- Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment by adhering to safety protocols and proper tool storage
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while ensuring quality standards are met
- Conduct basic inspections of assembled components to identify defects or issues early in the process
- Help load and unload materials or finished products as needed to facilitate smooth operations
Requirements
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools.
- Experience using power tools safely and effectively in a workshop or warehouse setting
- Strong assembly skills with attention to detail to ensure accurate construction of components
- Previous Joinery experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Good physical stamina for standing, lifting, bending, and moving materials throughout shifts
- A proactive attitude with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement
