Early Years Practitioner
Middleton Cheney Pre-School Ltd is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our experienced, supportive, and passionate team.

The Role
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting the learning, development, and wellbeing of children aged 2-4 years. Working alongside an experienced team, you will help deliver stimulating learning experiences that reflect children's individual interests, abilities, and developmental needs.
You will contribute to planning and implementing engaging activities, support children's progress through play-based learning, and help create a safe, caring, and inspiring environment both indoors and outdoors.

- Is passionate about early years education and child development.
- Understands the importance of play-based learning and can adapt their approach to meet the needs of individual children.
- Has high expectations for all children and is committed to helping them achieve their full potential.
- Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a supportive team.
- Is flexible, proactive, and able to use their initiative.
- Has strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and record-keeping.
- Is confident supporting learning across all areas of the provision, including outdoor learning environments.
- Embraces ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
- Shares our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
An interest in using technology to support learning and administration would be beneficial.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should:
- Hold, or be working towards, a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.
- Possess GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics at Grade C/Level 2 or above.
- Have experience working within an early years or childcare setting (desirable but not essential for the right candidate).
Hours and Benefits
This is a term-time-only position.
We are seeking an individual who can work a minimum of 3 days per week, with working days and patterns to be agreed with the successful candidate.
