Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional (must be over 18 due serving alcoholic drink) Bartender/Waitress to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional service to our guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing bar and table service. Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and take their orders with attentiveness and professionalism
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards
- Take food orders from guests, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, tables, and service stations throughout shifts
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, issuing receipts as required
- Provide recommendations on drinks and menu items to enhance guest satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws and health & safety regulations at all times
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar or dining area as needed
- Engage with guests to foster a friendly atmosphere, encouraging repeat visits
Skills
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
- Basic numeracy skills for handling payments accurately
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of cocktail preparation and food service standards is desirable
- Organised with strong attention to detail in both service delivery and cleanliness
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
