We are seeking a Strategic Business Manager to join our team in the United Kingdom. Based in anyway in the North and with the whole of the North as your patch , this role is vital in driving strategic initiatives that align with our mission to protect health and well-being while fostering sustainable growth.
You will responsible for customer retention, driving sustainable revenue growth across a defined portfolio of strategic accounts, with a primary focus on healthcare and regulated commercial customers within NHS and Private Sector customers.
The Strategic Business Manager will also be responsible for a team of Regional Business Managers driving strong account management and revenue growth through upsell opportunities, cross-selling, new sites and volume.
The role leads complex sales activity, contract expansion, and long-term account strategy, while collaborating closely with Bid Management, Operations, Marketing, Finance and Customer Experience teams to deliver customer value, increase share of wallet, and protect margins.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Business, Sales, Commercial Management, or related field.
- Significant experience in strategic account management, business development, or complex B2B sales, preferably within healthcare, regulated services, or compliance-led industries.
- Proven track record of managing high-value customer relationships, leading complex sales cycles, and delivering revenue growth and customer retention.
- Demonstrated commercial acumen, including contract negotiation, pricing discipline, forecasting, and financial performance management.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior internal and external decision-makers.
- Experience working cross-functionally within matrix organisations to deliver customer and business outcomes
