This is an exciting opportunity for someone with an understanding of autism and experience in supporting individuals to join the leading autism charity in the region and make a difference to the lives of autistic people and their families.
We are looking for someone who has experience of supporting families, parent/carers & children to join our community services team based in Birmingham.
Experience of providing advice, information and support and delivering training is also essential. An understanding how autism strategies can be used in a person-centred way will be an advantage. We welcome applications from people with lived experience.
Delivery will involve a combination of in person support and online via Microsoft Teams. For this reason, the successful candidate must be able to travel to deliver community-based activities across the area. A car owner is essential. The role will have an office base in Selly Oak, Birmingham.
The post holder will need flexibility to work as part of a small team including occasionally working outside normal working hours when required, including evening and weekend work. Advance notice is provided for out of hours working with most hours worked between Monday and Friday (9am -5pm).
