My Lighthouse is a new way for experienced carers to find work directly with families, no agency taking a cut of your pay. We are recruiting carers onto our platform for live-in and hourly roles across the UK.
We connect you directly with families who need care, you keep what you earn, and you choose the work that suits you.
We are currently seeking a visiting carer for a role in LN3, Lincoln:
Pay: £24 per hour
Start: I'm not sure yet
Working pattern: 16 hours per week, flexible weekdays and alternate weekends, 4 hours daily
Key responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Support household tasks, cleaning, and laundry
- Drive to appointments and community activities
- Assist with meal preparation, cooking, and finances
Requirements
- Must be self-employed with own transport
- Extensive experience with severe mental health conditions
- Experience supporting people with learning disabilities
- Very high proficiency in spoken English
About the client
- Female client with severe mental health needs
- Requires support with numerical tasks and finances
- Supported by social services and direct payments
- No family or friends support network
This role will suit someone steady, practical and emotionally strong, who copes well with difficult situations and stays calm under pressure.
Pay: £24.00 per hour
