About the Role
As a Qualified Early Years Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting children's learning and development while helping to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment. You'll work closely with colleagues, children, and families to provide outstanding care and early years education.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of engaging learning activities.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Promote children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Ensure children's safety and wellbeing at all times.
- Observe, monitor, and record children's progress.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming nursery environment.
- Work effectively as part of a friendly and supportive team.
What We're Looking For
- A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (or equivalent).
- Good knowledge of the EYFS framework.
- A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting young children's development.
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
