Working for a family run business as a Service Receptionist you’ll have the drive to deliver outstanding and trusted experiences for our customers and colleagues. This role is at the core of our customer satisfaction, building lasting relationships with customers and colleagues, guiding and advising them on work needed on their vehicles and being with them every step of the way. Working in a small and lively team, your focus will be on the customer journey, liaising with technicians and colleagues to advise customers and sales on repairs.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Exceeding customers expectations through every step of the process
- Creating a memorable experience from enquiry through to completion and collection of their vehicle
- Be responsible for achieving targets for labour sales, hours sold and parts sales.
- Represent the Richard Nash brand with expert knowledge and delivering excellent customer service through honest guidance
- Maintain and build close relationships with new and existing customers
- Maintain good relationships with other departments advising on work required and scheduling to meet required deadlines.
- Efficient management of the workflow and scheduling of the workshop
- Take responsibility for customer vehicles, keys and workshop parking
- Keep the customer informed every step of the way throughout the time that we are caring for their vehicle.
- Use your knowledge to advise customers and sales on repairs, in consultation with the workshop technicians.
The ideal candidate:
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to effectively communicate with both customers and technicians.
- Proficient in cash handling procedures.
- Exceptional communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
- A valid driving licence is preferred.
