About the Role
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Retail Shop Floor Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will help create a positive shopping experience by assisting customers, maintaining the sales floor, and ensuring products are well-stocked and attractively displayed.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers with their enquiries.
- Replenish shelves and ensure products are displayed neatly.
- Keep the shop floor clean, organised, and safe.
- Assist with stock deliveries and inventory management.
- Operate the till and process customer purchases (where required).
- Support promotional activities and merchandising displays.
- Work as part of a team to achieve sales and customer service goals.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Friendly, positive, and approachable attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and organisational skills.
- Previous retail experience is an advantage but not essential, as training will be provided.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays where required.
