Are you an experienced housekeeper or cleaner ready to take the next step into management? Or perhaps you already have supervisory experience and are looking for a varied, hands-on role with a friendly Bristol-based company?
At Quarter Short Lets, we’re looking for an organised, reliable and practical Assistant Housekeeping Operations Manager to support our housekeeping team and maintain excellent standards across our growing portfolio of short-let and Airbnb properties in Bristol.
Location: Bristol - a mobile role working across our properties, with our Head Office in Clifton, BS8 as your base. Future travel to Bath may also be required.
Driving license: to be considered for this role, candidates will need a valid driving license and be happy to drive around our properties where required (you don't necessarily need a car, as you may be able to drive our little electric van).
Pay: £13.75 per hour plus on-target bonuses of up to £800 per year. You will also receive mileage payments if driving your own vehicle in the role.
Hours: 28-30 hours per week, usually worked across four shifts, in line with the pattern below...
Typical working pattern:
Monday: 9am–3pm
Wednesday: 9am–3pm
Friday: 8am–4pm
Sunday: 8am–4pm
This pattern may occasionally change to meet business needs or provide holiday cover. We also may be able to adapt it slightly if there is a day among the above that you are unavailable (Sundays are a must, though).
Join our friendly Quarter Short Lets team and help us maintain excellent standards across our busy portfolio of short-term accommodation and Airbnb properties.
Quarter Short Lets includes two brands: Clifton Short Lets, which offers flexible and affordable short-term accommodation across Clifton, and Host360, our Airbnb and short-let property management service operating across Bristol and expanding into Bath.
Working closely with our Housekeeping Operations Manager, you’ll help coordinate and support a large housekeeping team while ensuring our rooms and properties are always clean, welcoming and ready for guests.
This is a varied, hands-on position combining people management, property inspections, organisation and administration. You’ll also need to be happy to roll up your sleeves and help with cleaning when required.

Previous supervisory experience would be an advantage, but it isn’t essential. We’d also love to hear from experienced housekeepers or cleaners with the right transferable skills and attitude who are ready to take their next step into management.
This is a mobile role, albeit based out of our head office, so you must be comfortable driving between properties. You don’t necessarily need your own car, as use of our company electric van (small and automatic - easy to drive about!) may be available.
Apply now with your CV and a short covering letter / message telling us why you’re interested in the role. We’ll be in touch with suitable applicants to arrange an initial phone interview – success at that stage would lead to an in-person final round interview.
Applications close Friday 18th September 2026 - but don’t hang about; we’ll interview as we go and may close the role early!
