The Role: Health & Wellness Quality Control Assistant
This is a great opportunity to join our Health & Wellness quality team as a Quality Control Assistant, working on the manufacture of well-known protein and nutrition products for leading brands such as SCI-MX, Protein Dynamix, and many more. Following our recent acquisition of the well-known brand Slimfast, we are looking for motivated candidates with a positive, can-do attitude and a genuine eagerness to learn and make a difference to quality to join our growing team. This is an exciting time to come on board with the division recently moving to a new, multi-million-pound, purpose-built manufacturing facility.
Start Date: ASAP Location: Manchester, Trafford Park, M17
Days/Hours: Monday to Friday – Flexible to work 06:30 – 14:30
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000

Key Responsibilities
- Complete quality documentation accurately and on time.
- Carry out hygiene inspections and GMP audits.
- Investigate quality issues, non-conformances and complaints.
- Prepare samples for testing and analysis.
- Conduct routine quality checks on raw materials, work in progress and finish products.
- Support and maintenance of documentation for the Quality Management Systems
- Support internal audits.
Skills and Experience Required
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and food safety principles.
- Good Microsoft Office skills.
- Food manufacturing experience, ideally in the role of QC.
- Knowledge of HACCP and GMP.
