Responsibilities
- Supervise daily breakfast service, ensuring timely and efficient food preparation and presentation
- Lead and motivate team members, including cooks, servers, and baristas, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
- Oversee food safety protocols, maintaining cleanliness and compliance with health regulations
- Coordinate food production activities to meet quality standards and guest expectations
- Assist in menu planning and ingredient sourcing to ensure freshness and variety
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage stock rotation
- Train new staff on culinary techniques, safety procedures, and service standards
- Handle guest inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction and loyalty
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting, ideally with breakfast or morning service focus
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations with culinary expertise
- Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in food production
- Experience managing teams, coordinating shifts, and leading staff in fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of hospitality industry operations gained through restaurant or hotel experience
- Barista experience is a plus, demonstrating skills in beverage preparation and customer service
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to motivate staff and engage guests
