The Pumping Marvellous Foundation is the UK's patient-led heart failure charity. We are passionate about improving the lives of people affected by heart failure through education, support, awareness, and innovative community programmes.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly organised and proactive Operations & Fundraising Coordinator reporting to our Head of Operations. This is a varied role for someone who enjoys wearing many hats, thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to make a genuine difference to peoples lives.
About the Role
Location: Preston, Lancashire (with UK travel as required)
Hours: 24 hours per week (Mon-Thurs – Office Based)
Salary £14 per hour (with a performance-based bonus scheme)
No two days are the same. You will provide operational support across the charity while helping to deliver fundraising campaigns, organise events, coordinate projects and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the charities activities.

Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day support to the Operational requirements of the charity
Assist with planning and delivering fundraising campaigns and events.
Build and maintain relationships with supporters, funding partners and donors.
Assist with project management and administrative tasks.
Coordinate volunteers and event logistics.
Prepare reports, presentations and supporting documentation.
Maintain accurate databases and records.
Liaise with healthcare professionals, funding partners and external stakeholders.
Identify and support social media campaigns and marketing activity.
Identify new fundraising opportunities from creative ideas through to implementation.
Deliver when required the operational needs for the business outside job scope.
About You
You must be exceptionally organised with excellent attention to detail.
A confident communicator, both written and verbal.
Self-motivated and able to prioritise a varied workload.
Positive, adaptable and happy to get involved wherever needed.
Creative with ideas for fundraising and supporter engagement.
Comfortable using MS 365 and other digital platforms in use by the charity.
Able to work independently as well as part of a close-knit team.
Willing to travel occasionally throughout the UK.
Desirable Experience
Charity, healthcare or not-for-profit experience.
Event planning and coordination.
Fundraising and supporter engagement.
Project management development to delivery.
CRM/database management.
Social media and digital communications.
Budget monitoring and reporting.
