About EcoDuct
EcoDuct is a fast-growing UK manufacturer of pre-insulated ductwork systems, supplying projects across the UK and Ireland.
As the business continues to grow, we are looking for a Project Manager to join our team in Fleetwood and take responsibility for coordinating projects from order through to manufacture, delivery and installation support.
Previous experience with our specialist manufacturing software, Autodesk Camduct, is not required. Full training will be provided. We are looking for someone who is technically minded, highly organised, confident using computers and keen to develop their knowledge of ductwork and our manufacturing processes.
The Role
The Project Manager will act as a key point of contact between our customers, site teams and internal production team.
You will manage multiple live projects, ensuring the correct information is received, drawings and requirements are understood, manufacturing information is prepared accurately and projects progress in line with agreed programmes.
You will be trained to use Autodesk Camduct to prepare ductwork for manufacture using our CNC production equipment.
The role combines project management, technical coordination and customer/site support and would suit someone who enjoys taking ownership of projects and solving problems.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management & Coordination
- Manage projects from receipt of order through to manufacture, delivery and completion.
- Act as a main point of contact for customers and project/site teams.
- Review orders, drawings, schedules and project information.
- Ensure all required information is received before manufacturing commences.
- Coordinate project requirements with the production and logistics teams.
- Monitor project programmes, manufacturing requirements and delivery dates.
- Coordinate site measures and ensure information is accurately recorded and communicated.
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
Technical & Manufacturing
- Read and interpret ductwork and mechanical drawings.
- Have an understanding of ductwork systems, components and installation requirements.
- Learn to use Autodesk Camduct, with full training provided.
- Input and check ductwork information prior to CNC manufacture.
- Review dimensions, connections and component details for accuracy.
- Liaise with customers where drawings or information require clarification.
- Work closely with the production team to resolve manufacturing queries.
- Assist with technical queries relating to EcoDuct products and installation.
Customer & Site Support
- Communicate directly with contractors and installers throughout live projects.
- Provide day-to-day project and technical support.
- Coordinate site visits where required.
- Assist installers with queries relating to connections, fittings, dampers, access doors, alterations and other installation details.
- Help identify and resolve site issues quickly to minimise disruption.
- Develop strong working relationships with customers and installation teams.
Administration & IT
- Use Microsoft Excel for project tracking, schedules and production information.
- Use Microsoft Word to produce project documentation, reports and correspondence.
- Confidently use Microsoft Outlook, Teams and other Microsoft 365 applications.
- Maintain project information within the company's internal systems and trackers.
- Produce clear and professional written communication for customers and internal teams.
Essential Skills & Experience
We are particularly interested in candidates who have:
- Strong organisational and project coordination skills.
- Experience with ductwork manufacturing.
- Excellent computer literacy.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- The ability and willingness to learn new software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Confidence working with dimensions, drawings and technical information.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to manage several projects and priorities simultaneously.
- A practical approach to problem solving.
- Confidence communicating with customers, site teams and production staff.
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
Camduct experience is not required – full training will be provided.
What We're Looking For
Technical aptitude and the ability to learn are more important to us than previous experience with EcoDuct or Camduct.
We're looking for someone who is comfortable working with computers and technical information, can communicate confidently with customers and installers, and has the organisational skills to take ownership of multiple projects.
You should be comfortable asking questions, identifying when information doesn't look right and following issues through until they are resolved.

Career Development
This role is intended to develop into a key position within EcoDuct.
As your technical and product knowledge develops, you will take increasing responsibility for managing projects independently, supporting customers and installers, and coordinating projects through our manufacturing facility.

Pay: £26,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
