Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Live-in Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food and beverage service, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role involves managing bar and kitchen activities, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of bar operations, including drink preparation, serving, and ensuring high standards of hospitality.
- Supervise and manage staff, including training new team members and organising shift schedules.
- Coordinate food preparation and cooking activities within the bar area, ensuring quality and presentation meet company standards.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene practices across all areas of operation.
- Lead by example in delivering excellent customer service, resolving guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Manage stock levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients and beverages.
- Organise events or promotions to enhance customer engagement and maximise revenue opportunities.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the bar, kitchen, and surrounding areas at all times.
- Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and foster a positive team environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within a hospitality setting.
- Supervising experience with demonstrated team management skills.
- Extensive restaurant or hotel experience is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and food production processes.
- Background in serving or hospitality roles that emphasise excellent customer service skills.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- Experience with barista work or beverage crafting is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in both service delivery and operational procedures.
