Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects, both residential and commercial. The ideal candidate will possess solid electrical experience and be proficient with hand tools and power tools. Duties
- Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with safety regulations and technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute installations accurately.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, and upgrades.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety legislation.
- Assist in the testing of electrical systems to confirm proper operation.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
Skills
- Proven electrical experience with a strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, etc., as well as power tools like drills and saws.
- Ability to read technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong commitment to safety procedures and regulations.
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- Experience in domestic/commercial work
- UK driving license (preferred)
- Reliable, professional, and self-motivated
