Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and reliable working foreman to join our growing team. The successful candidate will work across a variety of residential extensions, renovations and refurbishments, and commercial construction projects, delivering high quality workmanship while maintaining professional standards on site across projects in London and Essex.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in their work and can confidently undertake a range of construction and finishing tasks.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and oversee other tradesmen onsite
- Carry out a variety of trade tasks across residential and commercial projects.
- Assist with and complete home extensions, renovations, and refurbishment works.
- Undertake carpentry and joinery work as required.
- Install kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, doors, skirting, and other finishing elements.
- Perform dry lining, plasterboarding, and general building duties.
- Carry out painting, decorating, maintenance, and repair works.
- Work from drawings, specifications, and site instructions.
- Ensure projects are completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Liaise professionally with clients, contractors, suppliers, and colleagues.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Multi-Tradesman, General Builder, or similar role.
- Experience working on residential extensions and renovation projects.
- Experience within commercial construction or fit-out projects.
- Competent across multiple trades, including carpentry, general building, dry lining, flooring, and finishing works.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Own transport and tools.
Pay: £160.00-£200.00 per day
