We are the Football Foundation - the Premier League, the FA and government’s charity that delivers outstanding grassroots facilities, more and better places to play, transforming lives and communities where it is needed most.
As a Technical Project Manager, you'll lead the technical delivery of a portfolio of capital sports infrastructure projects, supporting applicants from the earliest design stages through procurement, construction and project completion.
Managing an annual portfolio of projects, you'll work closely with local authorities, football clubs, schools, consultants and contractors to ensure facilities are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest technical standards. You'll also provide expert technical advice to support funding decisions, undertake site inspections, assess construction risks, oversee grant payments and help protect the Foundation's investment.
This is an autonomous, varied role that combines technical expertise with relationship management and project leadership.
About the Football Foundation
Over the last 25 years, the Foundation has awarded more than 75,000 grants worth more than £1.3 billion to deliver the grassroots facilities that every community across the country needs and deserves.
As the biggest sport charity in the country, we’re a unique partnership between key football partners with a shared goal – ensuring every community in England has a great place to play.
We’re incredibly proud of the difference we’ve made to grassroots sport up and down the country since we started our journey, but we’re not slowing down any time soon.
