Shop Assistant/Supervisor required for a busy Londis Convenience Store on Abbotsbury Road.
We are looking for someone who is 18 years or over, as you have to be able to serve and authorise age restricted goods for this role, that is willing to learn to serve Post Office customers and supervise the shift when the supervisor is on holiday. No previous Post Office experience is necessary as all training will be given, but we do require at least 1 year of supervisory experience to be considered for this role. This doesn't necessarily need to be in retail.
Successful candidates will be customer focused and interested in delivering outstanding customer service during evening hours. This role requires strong communication skills to engage with customers effectively. You must be energetic and interested in serving and putting out stock/deliveries in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities Include but are not restricted to :
- Serving customers
- Putting away deliveries
- Stacking shelves and stock rotation
- Preparing orders for our online delivery service, Snappy Shopper.
- Cleaning/Tidying
Job Type: Part Time, 4 days a week at 18 hours per week on a 2 week rota. Includes working every other weekend.

You must be flexible in your availability and we ask that you cover staff holidays and sickness if and when required.
Salary:
21 & over £12.71 per hour (£13.21 per hour if supervising)
18 - 20, £10.85 per hour (£11.35 per hour if supervising)
