Bromley Connect Primary Care Network was formed in 2019 and comprises of 3 GP practices in central Bromley, Dysart Surgery, London Lane Clinic and South View Partnership.
The post holder will provide administrative support to the PCN supporting current and future work streams and HR admin as directed by the Clinical Directors, Practice/Network Managers and Digital Transformation Lead (DTL). The post holder may work across the three practices to ensure the smooth running of all PCN activity. This will require excellent organisation skills, attention to detail with comprehensive and effective administration skills with a flexible approach.
The main duties of the role include:
· Monitor the daily activity to ensure the smooth running of clinics and projects, highlighting any operational issues and supporting the resolution.
· Contribute to the overall delivery of national and local Primary Care Network priorities and initiatives under the direction of the Clinical Directors, Practice Managers and DTL.
· Provide administrative support for monthly returns and to PCN GP practices itemised payment details relating to remittances issued to practices for work in delivering PCN services
· Liaise with the Practice/Network Managers / DTL to share weekly communications to PCN staff relating to the availability of EA shifts, project updates and maintaining an up to date library for PCN communication.
· Administration to support the Practice/Network Managers and DTL in ensuring compliance is adhered to by maintaining up to date staff handbooks, policies and protocols.
· Support the set up and induction of new PCN staff on all systems
· Provide support in co-ordinating staff HR administration including appraisals, annual leave and training.
· Coordinate the gathering of data and production of PCN newsletters and practice communications.
· Administration in support of PCN projects, healthcare initiatives and seasonal events.
· Liaising with Practice/Network Managers and DTL to ensure clinical and non-clinical cover is confirmed as needed.
· Collect data from clinics relating to service access, utilisation and patient feedback
· Diary management and support the organisation of meetings or events related to PCN activity, produce agendas and minutes.
· Liaise with third parties with regard to aspects of PCN work
· Excellent IT skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.
