full time position to work on a large-scale family run arable farm on the Isle of Sheppey
we currently harvest wheat and oilseed rape and forage maize and whole crop.
we run all modern machinery including Fendt and John Deere tractors and Claas combines and forager and JCB telehandlers.
You will be required to work within a skilled team including foraging, arable harvest, commercial grain storage and AD plant
your job will include however not limited to:
- Drive and operate a Tractor and Trailer and Tractor and Tanker
- Operate cultivation and Drilling equipment
- Drive a forklift/telehandler - loading grain lorries, pushing up.
- Machinery maintenance and welding
we expect you to:
- Have a Full Clean Driving License
- work well within a team
- good communication skills, enthusiasm and sense of humour
