Come and join our family run care home in the pretty village of Marston Magna Yeovil. Fir Villa Residential Home is recruiting a Waking Night Care Assistant to join our professional and dedicated team to work waking night shifts over a two week rota.
The shifts start at 9.30pm until 8.00am.
The rate of pay is £150.00-£155.00 per night depending on qualification and experience. An additional £10.00 enhancement will be paid for Saturday night shifts. A pay review will follow after a successful probation period.

We are looking for a committed and motivated individual that works well in a team and able to use own initiative.
Attention to detail, excellent people skills, observation skills and a good standard of written English are required.
We are looking for an individual with a minimum of a level 2 NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care.

You will need transport to get to us, as we are in a village just outside of Yeovil. We do not have buses running through the village at this time of day.
The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and reliably, exercise initiative and have good working knowledge of the care industry.
The ideal candidate will also be required to carry out medication rounds.
The responsibilities of the role include:
The contribution to and delivery of award winning care, - ensuring the protection and well-being of vulnerable adults at all times - maintaining a high level of monitoring and supervision.
Our ideal candidates will have a Social care qualification
- Experience in working with Dementia and Vulnerable adults
- Excellent communication, observation and analytical skills
- Excellent skills in record keeping
All Successful candidates will be subject to DBS checks and references.
